Jeffrey Mason’s Story Grand Champion I am very happy to say that I have completed this great program – start to finish, meal to meal. It is not only flexible for any set of goals and body condition, but also sustainable. This program is something that can be incorporated into any lifestyle, which is what I have found most rewarding.
Before starting Body-for-LIFE, I was lost in the gym. I constantly feared I would be judged for my form or the low weight I was lifting. With the help of the Body-for-LIFE Challenge I was able to plan my workouts before going to the gym. Knowing I had a plan for myself and that I would hold myself accountable to my journal, allowed me to walk into the gym with my head held high. I quickly realized that the other people in the gym were not judging me, but were doing what I was learning to do – focus on form and weights.
When people talk about diet and exercise success, they tend to focus on what they’ve lost. Yes, I can say that I lost multiple inches from my waist and many pounds on the scale, but I personally feel my results are best acknowledged through what I have gained. I’ve gained confidence and knowledge in weight training. I cherish this gained knowledge as it gives my efforts a new sense of purpose. Throughout my transformation I also gained a better sense of control – control over my eating, control over my desire to settle for mediocrity and control over my health. What I gained the most from this Challenge is a healthy lifestyle. Reaching that lifestyle through a program that is so easy to manage and maintain; I know I will continue to be a healthy contributor to my friends and family for years to come.
